BEWARE : BIG BROTHER IS WATCHING YOU (1984)

1984, a literary masterpiece, penned by George Orwell, created a harrowing picture of dystopia named OCEANIA, where government decides anything and everything. What to do, what not to do, how to do and even what to think. The totalitarian state of Oceania was portrayed as BIG BROTHER. They(Big Brother) control the past, present and even future. People of Oceania were in constant fear, unbearable suffering and succession and under the surveillance of omnipresent Telescreen. It was a totalitarian regime. In party's words, 

WAR IS PEACE.
FREEDOM IS SLAVERY.
IGNORANCE IS STRENGTH.

                    If they call 2 + 2 = 5. It is the 'real' truth. How is it possible for someone to believe in such paradoxical statements? But you have to. You are not only supposed to accept it but to think on the line of Big Brother. This was frightening but unavoidable. 

                    The politics and psychology of this novel run deep. It predicts the true picture of (more or less) what we are witnessing in our times. State runs propaganda, they spread fake news, they make false statements and eventually they manipulate your thought. So that you won't think against party's ideology. So that you will follow them blindly and in the name of democracy they will impose totalitarianism. In context of our present world, more or less scenario is same as 'Oceania'. Political parties are like Big Brother. The only difference from the novel to real world is- They will not kill you, they will not make you confess either. THEY WILL CHANGE YOUR THOUGHT. And this will be done by propaganda, misinformation, persuasion and using money in all possible manners. In Fact, it is happening today. 

                      More than 65 years since this book was published, it still remains one of the most hauntingly terrifying portrayals of the future of human kind. A future where every thing belongs to the state and NO ONE is FREE. The state is omnipotent and omnipresent. If you will ever try to move against them. 

YOU. ARE. THE. DEAD. (Within or outside)
